Stopping Hazardous Products from Hurting Others

By Product Liability Lawyer on April 14, 2010 - No comments

I have had the opportunity to see the effects of numerous dangerous activities in my time as a certified specialist by the State of Arizona in injury and wrongful death litigation. Because of what we do as personal injury attorneys, we are often helping people seek justice when someone has harmed another due to negligence or, in some cases, and intentional act that caused harm. Obtaining justice for someone who suffered an injury is rewarding, but when it comes to product liability claims, there is an additional advantage that we realize. Not only are we helping the injured party and giving that person an opportunity to obtain justice, but by filing a lawsuit, we also deter manufacturers from putting dangerous products on the market.

We understand that corporations design and manufacture products to make money, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. There is a problem, however, when a corporation, in its efforts to make money, continues to sell a product that it knows is dangerous and that can bring harm to its customers because it is profitable to do so. Product liability lawsuits offer a strong deterrent against this type of corporate behavior, as the loss from settlements and jury awards will inevitably take away much of the profitability.

Should you or someone you know have been injured due to a dangerous or defective product, we invite you to contact us. Our Arizona defective product injury attorneys will answer your questions and provide the information you need to decide whether to pursue a product liability claim.
